Flynn, a leading international supplier and installer of building envelope materials, is undertaking a renovation to modernize its local office and optimize functionality. The existing building, with its traditional layout, no longer meets the company’s growing needs. This project presents an opportunity to create a brighter, more efficient workspace with improved adjacencies, increased shared amenities, and a refreshed aesthetic aligned with Flynn’s brand standards. Key priorities include reconfiguring two floors (7,800 sq. ft. each) to enhance natural light and collaboration, upgrading employee amenities such as kitchens and fitness facilities, and addressing essential building improvements. Additionally, the exterior renovation will showcase Flynn’s expertise in cladding and glazing while expanding parking and enhancing the site’s overall appeal. With an open approach to possibilities, Flynn aims to transform its space into a modern, functional, and inspiring workplace.

The Grand Touring Auto construction project successfully extended the building’s main entrance, featuring a new window wall system and upgraded exterior cladding finishes. Additionally, the dealership underwent a major renovation of its interior finishes, ensuring that the brand standards of luxury automakers like Rolls Royce and Lamborghini were met to the highest specifications.

Located close to YYC International Airport, ARCHICON led the construction of a brand new five-storey Hyatt Place Hotel that houses 127 guest rooms with a fitness center, pool, restaurant, and meeting facilities. It involves extensive structural concrete work for elevator shafts, a pool deck, and floor slabs.

ARCHICON was responsible for overseeing the design and construction of this project and delivered under a Construction Management contract to ensure costs were monitored and stayed within budget.
